US Open

Citizen proudly celebrates 25 years as the Official Timekeeper of the US Open Tennis Championships.

In the world of sports, athletes and timekeepers share a lot in common. With court-side clocks tracking match time and stadium scoreboards to display match results, Citizen plays an integral role each year at the US Open. Over the past 25 years, Citizen match time displays have recorded some of the longest Grand Slam matches in history.

In addition to sponsoring the US Open, Citizen is proud to be the official sponsor of Arthur Ashe Kid’s Day, as well as the Exclusive Timekeeper and Official Sponsor of the Western and Southern Open, the Connecticut Open at Yale and Citi Open in Washington, D.C.

Beginning in 2015, Citizen expanded its sponsorship to be the Official Timekeeper of the Emirates Airlines US Open Series through the 2020 season. Citizen has a courtside presence at all US-based series tournaments along with a new iconic clock on the facade of Arthur Ashe Stadium for the US Open, including eight double-sided clocks throughout the Club and Promenade level of Arthur Ashe Stadium.
